Story of Noah.
Rainbow a token to remind us:
God will never flood As The Days of Noah. Matthew 24:37-39 Also: Lk 17:26
(37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be)
(38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, (until) the day that Noe entered into the ark)
(39 And knew not until the flood came) and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Genesis 7:11-8:3: The flood continued 40 days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. The waters prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark floated on the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed so mightily upon the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered; the waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, birds, cattle, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm upon the earth, and every man; everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days. But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided; the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters had abated.

ðŸŒˆ: Genesis 9:13: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. The sign or token of God’s covenant with Noah (Gen. 9:13–17). JST, Genesis 9:21–25 (Appendix) explains that the covenant includes the promises that the earth will
 • never again be covered with a flood of water,
 • that the Zion of Enoch will return, and that
 • the Lord will come again to dwell on the earth.

Discourses of Joseph Smith: “I have asked of the Lord concerning His coming; and while asking the Lord, He gave a sign and said, ‘In the days of Noah I set a bow in the heavens as a sign and token that in any year that the bow should be seen the Lord would not come; but there should be seed time and harvest during that year: but whenever you see the bow withdrawn, it shall be a token that there shall be famine, pestilence, and great distress among the nations, and that the coming of the Messiah is not far distant.’”10
Enoch - A prophet who led the people of the city of Zion. He was the 7th patriarch after Adam. He was the son of Jared and the father of Methuselah (Gen. 5:18–24; Luke 3:37). Enoch was a great person and had a more significant ministry than the Bible’s brief account of him indicates. The Bible notes that he was translated (Heb. 11:5) but gives no details of his ministry. Jude 1:14 contains a quotation of a prophecy he made. Latter-day revelation explains much more of Enoch, specifically of his preaching, his city called Zion, his visions, and his prophecies (D&C 107:48–57; Moses 6–7). Zion was taken to heaven because of the righteousness of those who lived in it (Moses 7:69).

Baby Sitting Bag

13"x19" doubled, fabric of choice.

Example fabric has been split up.  Our baby sitting bags will  be just plain fabric, not lined

One improvement for the girls is to add tabs at the bottom instead of holes.   3"x5" tabs.  Fold in half length wise.  finger fold or iron to see center line.  Open and fold raw edges into center.  Iron.  Fold over once more, folding raw edges into another layer.   Ironing, leaving a piece about 3/4"x5".  Sew along both sides of long tab.  Cut in half for 2 tabs. Fold in half with fold inside the bag, even with the seam to be sewn.

Make casing 3/4-1" wide on both tops.  Sew bag with wrong sides together (tabs inside sides on bottom, beginning immediately under the casing.  We didn't hand stitch the raw edge of the ends of the casing, but would look better if done.

Image shows hole,
 but tabs are easier.

Turn bag.  Thread Paracord through one casing, across small unsewn hole, through other side casing pulling both lengths of cord to bottom tab.  Tie a knot through tab, making sure the cord is not pulling top or side too tight.   Cut extra cord off.  Thread cord through the other side, and tying off after knitting in the tab.

Drawstring bag can be tightened to keep contents inside, and is now a backpack.
