Sustained and Set apart and Hearing Him

Today I was sustained and set apart as the Primary Activity Day's for Girls Leader.  Usually it is expected that you don't tell anyone before you are sustained (someone can actually vote against you if they know of some reason you should not be allowed to serve in that calling - such as a sin that would put those in danger if you were to serve there).   But I couldn't keep it to myself.  We have to get some of these activities planned so these girls can have some of the best activities this year before we lose our older girls.

HEAR HIM:

As I went through the ward roster to pull the names of the girls in my group, I had the distinct impression that I needed an extra folder.  That was weird because the Primary President would have access to her daughters.  Still I felt I needed an extra.  Then I found out late last night that I also had the CTR7 group.  I quickly printed out more folders, but felt I still needed to have one more.

Today when our newly baptized members stood up front there was a sweet little girl LK that was not on my list.  How awful it would have been to hand out all of the folders I had made to each girl from CTR7 up through the 11 year olds and leave one little girl out.  I didn't have to, because God knew she would be there - that she was loved and would also need to feel included.

Such a simple thing, but I'm so grateful that as I have worked on my ability to Hear Him more easily, that this one came without effort.
